“Teslam Idek” – Bless Your Hand

In a London kitchen, Wissam and her daughter Mariam prepare Maqlooba, a traditional Palestinian dish passed down through generations. Interwoven with the experiences of seven Londoners from Middle Eastern backgrounds, Teslam Idek is a visual poem reflecting on memory, identity, and how culture is carried forward through everyday gestures, with hands as both subject and author.
