Fighting Demons
In one of the world’s most brutal and unforgiving sports, four fighters step into the ring—not just to battle their opponents, but to confront their own inner struggles. Fighting Demons is an in-depth exploration of the motivations that drive professional athletes to compete in Bare Knuckle Boxing, a sport where every punch carries the risk of severe injury, and only the toughest survive.
We follow four warriors, each with a deeply personal reason for stepping into the ring:
• Paul, classified as disabled on paper, who refuses to let a label define him, proving he’s just as fierce as any able-bodied fighter.
• Tony, a former elite soldier, who finds in the brutal discipline of the sport the structure and purpose he lost after being medically discharged.
• Tamlyn, who discovered solace in the raw intensity of combat, where the adrenaline of bare-knuckle fighting fuels her like nothing else.
• Harvey, the youngest bare-knuckle boxer in history, determined to carve his name into the sport and honour his family’s rich boxing legacy.
