Cracks in Time - Resonance of Dust
“Resonance of Dust” is one of six short films from the Cracks in Time documentary series, which explores contemporary China through the lives of female artists. Set in Wuhan during the stillness of the pandemic, the film follows artist Yu Ping as she reflects on decades of change and quiet social tension. It's not a linear narrative but a layered experience—a portrait of existence where dust gathers unnoticed, vibrating with memory, breath, and collective histories. This short stands within Cracks in Time, my ongoing exploration of individuals caught in shifting social landscapes, forming a kind of grand human image through fragmented lives.
